Every Vertechs Veu is equipped with the following features:
Smooth ride and smooth final stop.
The Veu Home Elevator uses a two speed hydraulic power system that provides a smooth, pleasant ride. It also includes a soft stop, which allows the system to provide a soft and quiet final stop. (Occupants will hardly feel the transition from high speed to leveling speed and then into a final stop).
Quiet operation.
besides providing a smooth ride, the Veu hydraulic power unit is extremely quiet. It is so quiet that it will make less noise than most dishwashing machines and far less than other types of residential elevators.
Safe, professional installation.
As part of our commitment to your safety, the Veu is only installed by qualified mechanics. We distribute our products exclusively through our network of dealers, which are fully trained and approved by Vertechs, providing a safe and professional installation.
Code compliant.
Safety is a major concern of our everyday life and elevators are no exception. Most home elevators do not require inspections or approvals by any authority and this is a concern to Vertechs. The Veu however, gives you the protection you and your family need, since it is fully code compliant to the American and Canadian latest elevator codes. The Veu also uses state-of-the-art CSA/UL and TSSA approved controller, as required for all commercial elevator systems.
Standard requirements.
The Veu can be installed in standard wood frame/drywall or block wall shafts. It uses regular household power (single phase, 220V and 110V) and the amount of power to operate it is minimal.
Automatic doors
Since folding gates were designed for closets and utility rooms; we consider the use of them as elevator doors, a poor approach to reduce cost.
It is no longer a secret, folding gates are accountable for more than 90% of accidents related to Residential Lifts, and tragically most of them involving children.

The Vertechs Veu has been engineered with full automatic doors that open and close with the push of a button like any real elevator. Best of all, both cab and landing doors are included as part of the standard Veu package.
Full range motion sensor.
Veu automatic doors are also equipped with Full Range Motion Sensors that prevent the doors from closing when an obstruction is detected, therefore providing maximum protection to children, adults and equipment.
Replaceable panels.
Contrary to typical residential lifts where wood panels are used as both cab structure and decorative wall panels.
The main structure of the Veu cab is made of steel, providing maximum stability and durability. The Veu wooden panels are for decorative purpose only, therefore independent from the cab structure, allowing easy replacement or refinishing, giving owners the flexibility of changing the appearance of the cab, without having to go through major expenses.
Selective collective.
Vertechs Veu offers the best type of operation available “Selective Collective” as part of the standard package.
Types of operations available in the market:
Selective Collective: Full memory capability. (Same as commercial elevators).
Ex: When a person calls the elevator to go down while the elevator is going up, the controller will keep the call in memory and pick the person on its way down only, avoiding taking the person in the opposite direction.Non-Selective Collective: Limited memory capability.
Ex: When a person calls the elevator to go down while the elevator is going up, the elevator will stop to pick-up the person on its way up, take him/her in the opposite direction, before taking them where they want to go. If the person doesn’t want to get on, to avoid going in the opposite direction, he or she will have to place the call again, as the controller will not keep the call in memory.Single Operation: No memory capability.
While the elevator is in use, the controller doesn’t respond to any calls, forcing the people to wait until the elevator is completely free of use to place a call.
